Concert Wear

We are finishing up with concert season and going into festival season now. The outdoor music festival season has already started, which, for many of us, will mean braving the residual winter weather AND the scorching spring/summer sun.I think we need a do and don't list of what to wear for events like this to avoid accidents and getting laughed at.

Don’t wear uncomfortable shoes. You will most likely either be standing or dancing. You don’t want sore feet at the end of the night or worse those dreaded blisters.

Don't wear Heels. It is not a fashion show and you look stupid leave them at home plus who can dance and jump around in them.

Steer away from open toed shoes. If things get rowdy, you’ll want to protect your toes from those accidental dance moves.

Dress down.  Concerts can be hot. And are tight spaces. You will be dancing around and standing at the front with a crowd against you. So it does get hot in these places.

Merch: Is an perfect way to support the bands playing when you met them you have brownie points already. If you plan on buying merch, simply just wear a tank top to the show and when you go to buy just slip the top over the tank top. it’s so simple and smart.

Tie your hair back: If you have long hair. trust me, When you jump, I hate when someones hair is constantly whipping me on the arm. You can make it look cute and trendy at the same time.

Dress for the concert: If you are going to a Lady Gaga concert you would dress differently than you would at a Bruno Mars concert so dress for the genre.

Make Up: Don't put so much on it looks like a crayon raped your face. At the end of the night it will be sweaty and your make up will look gross only put a little bit on.

Don't overdo yourself: As I said before it isn't a fashion show. You won't get best dressed. Unless they have that they want you to dress a certain way.

Lightweight Fabrics: Stick to lightweight fabrics that you can dance and comfortably move in. I tried to create an outfit loose and airy enough to keep you cool in a close crowd.

Small Bags: If you can't fit everything in your bra or your pockets. Then You will need a bag to put money in and What Not. But don't bring your whole family because in the mosh. Big bags hitting everyone sucks majorly. A small one to fit everything in is perfect.
one that slings over your whole body that can handle the weight of.

Revealing tops. enough said.

The best advice this scenester can give is to be comfortable.
But always look hot.
